hi there
|
Shortly after her certification, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Enduring cancer treatment and then beating it, she decided to give back, and became certified in Oncology Massage. Nicole has worked at both Yale New Haven Health, Smilow Cancer Center and Hartford HealthCare, St. Vincent's Medical Center as an Oncology Massage Therapist and also takes oncology patients at her private practice.
The most fulfilling part of being a clinical massage therapist is witnessing the healthy progress within patients. There is nothing better than coming home and knowing you made someone's life a little easier that day. Nicole is a member of AMTA – the American Massage Therapy Association, and is also a contributing writer for the FSMTB – Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards MBLEX exam. Nicole lives locally with her family on their organic farm of various rescued animals. |
